The launch of Notebooks 5 and the start of the public beta of Notebooks for Mac are reason enough to update our website, too. We hope that the transition was smooth for you, too, even though you might need to update a few bookmarks.
We try to make the Notebooks website much easier to read, more interactive, and we plan to regularly add tips and hints here as well. This should make this site the main source of information about Notebooks.

Thank you for the new upgrade, and for the Mac Beta. I will also be happy to see the PC Version. I am now working on both Windows and Mac as well as iOS.
I want to ask if the Mac App will retain DropBox and WebDav syncing. I have heard other developers claiming that Apple is making it hard to keep DropBox syncing. I really don’t care for iCloud syncing at this time. I would like to be able to buy a full version directly from the developer rather than a crippled version from the App store. I know others may not feel the same way but I am not happy with Apple Sandboxing. Anyway, thank you for these beautiful apps.
Yes, the PC version is still behind, we are facing a few issues with that…
I am not sure how much Apple’s sandboxing strategy will complicate Dropbox sync; basically, the user once needs to grant Notebooks access to the DB folder, but after that, sync should work as usual. We’ll see if it is really that simple.
Also, I appreciate the Wi-Fi Sync option. I hope it will be kept.
I have had Notebooks since I got an iPhone some years ago. Now that I can sync information to my computers, it will really fill a need for me to let me sync information across platforms.
There is no reason to remove WiFi sync 😉
